Coyotes Paw

This is a six course Spanish vihuela built by Alan Arthur Suits. Back and sides of gorgeous quilted maple, spanish cedar neck, Goncalo Alves pegs, fingerboard of padouk and ebony, rosewood bridge and gut frets. It is French polished with traditional shellac. A slightly arched fingerboard and a very player-friendly string spacing make this instrument excellent for guitarists playing early music on vihuela. A great deal of elegant music for the vihuela has survived, and classical guitarists play a lot of it, sometimes without realizing it! The vihuela comes with a heavy-duty Harptone case.
