Although stained and worn in places, this gorgeous Uzbek silk chapan is still wearable. The boteh designs date it to the late 1800's. It is lined with typical red floral cotton cloth from Russia and edged inside with fine old ikat silk also. It is lightly quilted with cotton batting indicating it was meant for cooler weather. | |
