Turkmenistan - Large Pendant
	A splendid gonzuk pectoral ornament with fine old patina, probably from the important oasis town of Merv. It is gilt silver with carnelians and probably made in the early 1900's or possibly the late 1800's. Turkoman jewelry is some of the most spectacular in Central Asia, sometimes made in truly enormous versions. We select pieces that are of interest to serious ethnic jewelry enthusiasts and this jewelry can sometimes be quite large.
