Nepal - Offering Lamp
	A fine, worn and old offering lamp (the standing deity has lost the oil reservoir that would hold oil wicks). Artifacts that are constantly used and handled acquire a wonderful, pleasing patina just like the wear on this sculpture. Offering lamps with oil-fed wicks are one of the oldest types of lighting, and one still used constantly in Hindu and Buddhist rituals.
